Nino (Anthony) continues to discover new paths and refine his technique of photographically painting with light and vibration. He feels this current body of work and expression is a culmination and distillation of his extensive training with some of the greatest masters of photography. Nino has clearly honed his skill in capturing the precise moment, which reflects the peak of each mood, whether it be in abstract images or still life work.

Currently, Nino is working on new visual presentations of his light paintings. The process of enhancing the fluid like quality of the still images through light projections, is being studied to create a unique environment in which to embody the work.
About “Blue Photo” Anthony Di Salvo,
Anthony’s work is powerful and explosive. Both concrete and abstract, his blue Klein images point to another dimension. Anthony is a visual surgeon. He photographs with laser beams of light. Peter Gabriel’s best songs, the rhythms of Laurie Anderson, the cries of Orchestral Manœuvres in the dark, a Scarlatti piano concerto… like a shrill sound piercing through a walkman all that mingles in Anthony’s thoroughly contemporary images to converge upon our eyes. What is it? What does that represent?
Anthony’s photos refuse to possess the subject photographed. He denies the usual obviousness of this power to capture from life. He is not in search of an identity (too readily detective as Susan Sonntag wrote). In a movement of light we would call aesthetic or simply emotional he creates his world and what makes it up. This world is in the rhythm of the streak left in the blue, as if in its metamorphosis this world was coming back from black nothingness, from a far-off galaxy, to pass into the blue atmosphere. Above and beyond an unquestionable graphic dimension, his photos convey the magic appeal of a presence that is all the more captivating because it seems vitalized by fleeting undulation, a spectral quality of bodies and matters. Images fabricate reality, people commonly say. Yes, then, if it is the way Anthony does it, so as to keep in it this call from a forgotten world that contemplation is unflaggingly searching to rediscover.” Nathalie Luyer, Vis A Vis International
